1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using any of the Parachute Apps software ("the Software"), including Parachute Backup, Offloader, or Outpost Launcher, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.



2. License

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software solely for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.



3. No Warranty

The Software is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
No guarantee is made regarding:
	•	Availability or uptime
	•	Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of backups or file operations
	•	Compatibility with third-party services (including iCloud, storage platforms, or system applications)
	•	Preservation of your data or system performance

Use is at your own risk.



4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of Parachute Apps software shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
	•	Loss of data
	•	Loss of profits
	•	Service interruptions
	•	Hardware failure
	•	Software conflicts

Even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

You acknowledge that it is your responsibility to test and verify backup processes and maintain redundant copies of important data.



5. Updates and Changes

The Software may be updated at any time without notice. These Terms may also change. Your continued use of the Software after any modifications constitutes acceptance of those changes.



6. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:
	•	Ensuring your system meets the requirements for the Software
	•	Choosing and securing your own backup destination
	•	Monitoring the behavior and results of any automated tasks

The developer has no access to your files and cannot assist with recovery of lost data.



7. Privacy

Parachute Apps software does not collect personal data, track user activity, or transmit any information off your device. See our Privacy Policy at https://parachuteapps.com/privacy.txt for more.



8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Bonner County, Idaho.
